Cactus Ranch - Under Reconstruction

Set in Freshwater Creek, the Cactus Ranch project involved the reconstruction of a late 1800s Californian Bungalow farmhouse that had deteriorated beyond repair. Jacon CC was tasked with rebuilding the home "as it once stood", honouring its historic presence, while carefully weaving in the principles of contemporary Australian architecture and modern functionality. The project balances timeless design with technical precision, incorporating advanced structural engineering for open-plan living and higher ceilings while maintaining the home's original character. The exposed truss carport, crafted from Glu-lam Tasmanian Oak and galvanised steel, showcases contemporary craftsmanship. This project exemplifies the team's ability to deliver complex builds with pride, integrity and trust.
